President Succumbs to Kennedy's Puppy Dog Close
Our Senior Senator, Ted Kennedy, and his wife Vicky, long-time supporters of both President Obama and the Portuguese Water Dog, used a classic puppy dog close to cement the First Family's choice of canine companion. Soon after the President's return from his whirlwind European tour, Charlie, a pre-owned Portuguese water dog, made a clandestined visit to the White House.
Demonstrating his well-honed negotiation skills, Senator Kennedy knew what he was doing.
On Tuesday, April 14, first time dog handlers, Malia, Sacha and their parents became the proud owners of a pure-bred Portie, now named Bo.
No stranger to Portuguese fishermen plying these waters, the high-energy Portuguese water dog is a familiar sight in and around Nobtucketport Harbor--but mostly in. We wager it won't be long before B'obama finds the White House fountain. Good luck, Mr. President.
